ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Salaman and Absal: A doomed romance between a prince and his nursemaid, from Haft Awrang ( meaning "Seven Thrones") by the Persian poet Jami is a classic of Persian literature composed between 1468 and 1485. This painting is originally for Safavid period (Tabriz 2nd school), I have chosen this painting because i am very interested in Persian literature and Persian painting is really very close to Persian literature. This painting took more than100 hours time and has worked with cat hair artist brushes and colors with very good quality.
