"Sans Titre - 1023" Painting

Yves Chamly was born in Paris in 1959. He received 10 years of intensive artistic training at the Ecole Boulle, Académie JULIAN, Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués - Olivier de Serres. To enhance his knowledge, he spent all of his free time in the studio of Miss Cotelle-Clère, a well-known French sculptor and painter. Thus, he became a professional artist, a member of « Ecole Francaise de Peinture », exhibiting every year at the Sénat, Musée du Luxembourg in Paris. He also participates in other exhibitions such as the « Salon des Indépendants », the Contemporary Art Fair in Paris and others in Europe. Over time, he began to concentrate on real abstract expressionism rather than figurative painting. He now works in Provence,in the south of France, where the unique ligth and intense colours provide the composition of his paintings. Using watercolour techniques, he paints with oil on canvas to give his creations particular depth and clarity. Colours vibrate, ligth turns, creating a special world he invites you to discover. It is a three dimensional space that draws you in and projects you to its very heart. Ligth and colour, proportion and depth are the determining parameters and the dynamics reveal the force and conviction that give life to his paintings. His creations are strong, expressive, constructed with vision. His paintings come from within, reflecting his energy, spontaneity and enthusiasm.
