While iresearching sacred symbols i came upon the yantra as a potent image and I was drawn to explore more the psychosomatic effects of such images, so over the last couple of years I have studied and practiced with a dozen of planetary and other types of yantras, to empirically assess whether the prescribed benefits are indeed observed when one works with them. Just like a mantra is the auditory rendition of a Deity, which is used to invoke the Deity and their energy, so is the yantra the visual representation, albeit abstract, of the essence of the God or Goddess and allegedly, by meditating on this image, one can assimilate the qualities of that deity. I am fascinated that this sort of abstraction was used to call upon the spiritual by the ancient Vedas, just as by the first abstractionists of the modernist movement. Saturn Yantra is the yantra of Organizing and Stabilizing and by meditating on it , the yantra can will help you get organized, clear the clutter, make space and reach a level of Emptiness to allow new possibilities. It will help youbring your projects to an end. Saturn really is a powerful ally when your life is going through big changes. The deep blues in this yantra will give you the discipline, faith and endurance needed to create remarkable transformations in your life, according to Sarah Tomlinson, an expert on yantras. This Yantra was painted on handmade khadi paper with high quality gouache and watercolor pigments and was done while in a deep state of meditation, chanting the Sham mantra continuously, instilling in the work the divine energy of Saturn.
