I spent the summer of 2017 as artist in residence for the village of St. Aubin Sur Mer, Normandy. I stayed in a lovely cottage on the cliffs above Saussemare beach. This is from a sketch I did at the time. I loved how peaceful this beach made me feel. I paint what I feel, and only in oil.
