About The Artwork

This work is from the van Hippel-Lindau series, a rare disease characterized by the formation of benign and malignant tumors in several organs. This condition affects 1 in 36,000 people. Retinal angiomas, detected by direct ophthalmoscopy, appear as dilated arteries. In this picture, my eye, which has undergone several difficult operations. It was fired with laser beams, cut with a surgical knife, and filled with silicone and gas. A scar is a reminder of the past. I depicted what I felt and saw at this moment. The play of color spots, shapes, lines makes it more acute to feel everything that happened to me.
