Scribble #2: Black Pathways Painting

This artwork is the second in the abstract series, Scribble. It is based on a drawing technique from my childhood utilizing crayons and a piece of paper. Commercial fabrics are used to construct this textile artwork. Hand appliquéd handmade bias tape is utilized to create the design. The dense hand quilting gives quilt visual texture and makes the viewer want to reach out and touch the piece. The piece is designed to be displayed in any orientation changing the look of the design dramatically. Artwork is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
