ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Seedfield is part of a body of work I call Tempus Fugit....time flies. These works were created with repeated brush stokes layered one on another into a grid format changing the colors. This creates a depth in an otherwise flat service. It is wood panel 1/2 inch thick but hangs away from wall by 2 inches

The work appears minimalist at first but a closer look reveals drawing and unexpected marks that are highlighted by the grid drawn into the surface. The color relationships are drawn from nature.
