This is a set of four Basho Matsuo's very famous Haiku Poems that were hand painted in Japanese Calligraphy with Sumi-E techniques. They are authentic hand painted original artworks, not a print. Hanging words in your home that mean a lot to you can help you re-center yourself in your daily life. Seeing those words can be a chance for you to stop, take a deep breath, think about what is truly important to you, and remember that you live in this moment. Thank you for visiting my page. I have always loved creating artwork. Art is a my life and my passion. I love working with Sumi Ink paintings, oil, pastel, acrylic paintings and graphite drawings. I love painting portraits, scenery, wild life, and flowers. I was trained in Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy) since I was 4 or 5 years old under my father who was a master Shodo painter. Shodo and Sumi-E painting is my roots, my culture, and my father's legacy. They are beautiful Japanese traditional arts and I deeply appreciate my father who taught me this and my heritage.
