Jack Ghostel is a watercolor artist from New York. Specializing in the watercolor medium, He is an artist who likes to showcase all he adores through his art. Inspired by Japanese traditional art, comics, and anime, Jack creates a style that is his own. His subjects all so effectively seem to come to life off of the canvas, so effectively drawing the viewer in and inviting this sense of connection between viewer and subject. From his beautifully crafted butterflies, still life images, and very introspective and intimate studies of sex in the modern context, and how it allows us to express these more intimate sides of our identity. His work offers so much for the viewer to connect with.
