Painting: Oil on Canvas.
These portraits in their artistic format solve the issue of emotional dialogue. The pictured characters are from the artist's circle of acquaintances that have been in his life at a certain stage or are still there. He imaged them in a not realistic way as those characters don't present pure formal specifics. With the last layer of the color he is not stressing or revealing the facial structure of the character, but the opposite – in this way he wipes off, hides it trying to make the character abstract in a way in order to stress his inner attitude towards this character. The technique applied by the artist is revealing his asspiration to start a psychological dialogue which also becomes obvious through the general color gamma of each character. In each portrait of this series the color is the indestructible part of completion of the character. Formally wiped off portraits, rejection of the concreteness is revealing the most important, personal layer of the artist. With this series of works the artist shows its experience and feelings towards each piece.
