Sideways Falling Again Painting

Inspired by observing the movement of a flock of birds on a misty day. Sometimes I feel they seem to be playing. They hover then allow themselves to fall before soaring away again. I see this as a metaphor for us letting go and going with the flow. Enjoying the freedom of going with whatever currents come along. The work was begun in ink then many layers of semi-transparent oil glazes have been applied to capture the feeling of moving through the space.
