Smooth Touch Hummingbirds on yellow Hibiscus Painting

Oils, 16 inch length 12 inch wide, 1 3/4 inch deep. Heavy duty canvas , prepped three times with gesso and sanded, protected with varnish for oils. Hanging hardware attached, ready for hanging. Growing up in the Midwest I saw thousands upon thousands of hummingbirds flying around our kitchen windows and buzzing around the trumpet flowers. Magnificent little creatures. I recall their vibrant colors glistening in the sunshine and I try to capture that color in my paintings, in which I feel like I accomplish most of that memory. This painting can be displayed in any room in the house, bringing a little of the outside inside.
