Snowy Himalayas Painting

For years I have been traveling in Himalayas in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Darjeeling and West Bengal in India. The best view of Himalayas I got from Kasauni hills of Uttarakhand near Ranikhet city. In early mornings, you can see snow covered peaks of Himalayas in 270 degree view. Another good view I liked was a complete snow covered Kashmir valley after crossing Jawahar tunnel. Based on my visits, I made this painting of Himalayan region with few cottages. The beauty is children playing outside school building whose roofs are covered with snow. I love to see a man with load on his back walking down the valley. You need a three dimension imagination to enjoy the depth of this painting, which I have drawn painstakingly. Wooden houses with snow covered roofs are peculiar to the hilly areas depicting the himalayan way of life.
