ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I must confess that I still crave violence…while I was still a teenager attending art school in kansas city, I was held up with that gun against my head by two young boys. I think about how my life would be different today if I was carrying a gun that night for protection. Either I would be dead, or those two boys would be, or maybe all of us for the one dollar bill that was in my pocket.Here’s the irony… while I personally hate guns. I have to confess that I still love watching violent action films or playing a first person shooters. The problem with the world is me.
