Description:
Cumulus clouds, with flat bases and cauliflower tops, are known as fair-weather clouds and normally drift on a sunny day. They are usually seen in the hours after daybreak and before sundown. Often referred to as ‘cotton-wool’ clouds because they look so soft and fluffy, they are the clouds we feel as if we could bounce onto and have a wonderful soft landing on if we jumped out of an airplane. They are especially beautiful when touched by the rays of the sun.

About the artist’s work:
These ‘cotton-wool’ clouds are ideal subjects for Rina. After reading an article online about Russian skydivers jumping into these fluffy clouds and seeing their adrenaline-fueled grins, Rina (who is a bit of an outdoor adventure girl herself) just had to capture the essence of these inviting puffs of misty mystery.

Artwork notes:
This piece is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on hand-crafted artist’s canvas, using 100% pure cotton, kiln-dried certified selected timber frame and hand primed with acrylic-based primer. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.
This painting is not framed, but comes ready to hang with the sides painted. Framing is unnecessary, but may be preferred, depending on the client’s wishes.
The artwork is signed on the side and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Rina Ritzi creates emotive and exclusive modern abstract art for both personal and corporate spaces. Growing up in the Free State, South Africa, Rina was always creative, but painting was a medium she didn't explore, and her creative passion was put on hold for a number of years. After studying, Rina became an accountant. Not a common career choice for a creative soul, but it appealed to Rina's organised mind, her enjoyment of working with people and a love for numbers. Now, though, that artistic talent, passion and creativity has allowed Rina to free her creative spirit and her artwork is personal, emotional, distinctive, evocative and unique, but it is driven by the need to create something for a client where they have input into the process. Rina's love of the outdoors provides her with inspiration, energy and motivation. The ever-changing colours, light and movement provide energy and vibrancy that translate into a variety of media.
