50% OFF FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON...Pierces Corners is an old farming community village near Ottawa. St. John the Baptist Anglican Church (1892) is a solid timber frame church. All original pews and stained glass windows. Church stable, once used for the congregation's horses, still stands. See photos. This work is an oil on canvas. Signed and dated 2018, it captures a typical humid summer day, with a impressionistic rendering of the church spire and surrounding buildings. The colours are difficult to photograph, so this work is more vibrant with a strong complimentary colours when viewed in person. The painting is sold unframed, however there is an example to give one an idea of what this 14x18 inch canvas would appear framed.
