ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was interested in stacking brush-marks as if they were physical objects subject to gravity and physics. Kind of like an architect or sculptor would approach painting. It's about the process of painting one layer over another, but re-interpreted in a new humorous way and plays with gravity and balance. Message me if you have any questions! There are tiny pin-holes on each of the corners from hanging it. Nothing out of the ordinary, or that stands out, just want to let you know.

Layers of paint run into, over and under each other in a literal and metaphorical battle of drives, forces, emotions and energies confined to the rectangular base like those taking place in and between our minds and bodies.
