About The Artwork
Inspired by the last minute trip I took by myself through the desert. I drove to Santa Fe on a whim. For hours the only company I had were the tarantulas crossing the road in front of me. The sun was going down and I began to get scared, as I was all alone. I looked into the horizon and saw the most magnificent and encouraging colors that whispered "keep going". This painting is an ode to that trip and feeling.
