- Oil painting on Belgian medium grain linen over a cradled aluminium panel This painting is based on a view of the Pentland Hills near an Iron Age hillfort and settlement. The intention was to capture the effect of the strong light as it hit a line of trees and illuminated the slope in the distance, turning the rock into an intense shades of purple and pink. Took about two and a half months to make.
