"No action is needed here. Rather, the movement of which Einstein speaks is the acknowledgment that time (in all its phases) is on our side and our only action is to recognize our presence as the divine overseer of our experience." Fascination with nature is universal. We adore, worship, and stand in awe of nature. We come from it, and eventually we return to it. Nature provides us with some of the most beautiful phenomena. However we encounter them everyday, though we are too caught up in the experience of our lives and fail to recognize them. Think of mountains and cracks in the sidewalk, of synapses, of lightning – think of cells, of viruses, and the images of far off solar systems – of fungi, of smoke, of the bark of a tree, of a flock of birds – the pattern of water, oil, and of natural growth – think of the macro and the micro, they aren’t that different. This invisible, organic pattern that guides everything is tantamount to my work and I strive to bring light to it; whether in concept, in detail, or as the end all. I challenge the viewers to reflect upon and expand their own field of questioning and experience; to realize that everything is connected and everything matters, to realize the connection between the internal and the external, to recognize this organic pattern of life in all things, to realize that they are the overseer of their own experience, to realize the universe within, to experience the sanctimonious present. Everything is everything is everything.
