The soldier of lead is a static man. A figure of power. A toy that walks on the image reflected in a mirror.Also he is a scared man who does not understand nothing and has a serious conflict with the natural thing.He feels threatened by the mysterious force and the uncertainty that provokes his relation with the woman of his life.From another dimension very much real,the daughter of the soldier is afraid for his father and believes that he could lose the head and to commit a madness.This picture was made an oil on canvas. My work this one inspired by all my culture and my experience. In a sense more formal or technical, I can say that my skill is a consequence of the whole life of study and observation of the big paintings of masters and nature.
