Blaze Donev
Macedonia
Blaze Donev was born on 09.02.1969 in Stip, R. Macedonia. Finished high school in Skopje. He is acquainted with the painting through the academic painter Novica Trajkovski and through their long-term cooperation he has perfected this kind of art. Since the beginning of his career (1993), Blaze Donev has performed three solo exhibitions.Two of them at the Bellevue Hotel, Ilinden, Skopje in 2003. and in 2010.And another one at the Home of Culture - Ilinden in 2018. He has participated in several group exhibitions throughout Macedonia. His style of creation is realism and surrealism as directions in painting, but he also represents Macedonian folklore and tradition with his portraits, icons and frescoes. At the present time he lives and works in the settlement of Ilinden near the capital of the Republic of Macedonia, Skopje.
