I'm an artist living and working in Kielce, Poland About my work : The inspiration for my work is nature, I use the richness of colors and forms as a metaphor to show how I perceive the complexity of relations between all living beings. I have a special love for birds. I capture the impression about them and transfer them to the world of painting. I also often use them as an allegory of my experiences, interpersonal relationships, bonds and processes that take place in my environment. In painting I am looking for a compromise between realistic painting, abstract painting and surrealism. Education and technology: I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the field of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art. Working with Gothic and Baroque paintings inspired me to use old painting techniques in my own art. I use hand-rubbed paints and primers on hand-made wooden panel and canvas. However, my passion is paper. I like it for it’s variety and unpredictability and how with watercolor paints they create effects that cannot be obtained by any other technique. In my work on paper, I use pencil, ink, watercolors and gouache.
