About The Artwork
I painted it out of my impressions of Szklarska Poręba - village in mountains of Poland, where I was on Christmas holidays with my friend. This painting can be seen as my reflection on such depressive, gloomy and lonely feelings I was experiencing at the moment of painting. It is painted with oils on cardboard as it is the most efficient and fast way of expressing such things. It is also well-framed in a 40x50 frame with white passe-partout.
