Michaël VIGER is a French Austrian painter and director. He began his movie making career with Arte as a specialised researcher on World War II veterans before he joined Henri Verneuil as assistant on the film “Mayrig” with Omar Sharif and Claudia Cardinale. Over a period of 25 years, he worked as 1st assistant director, 2nd unit Director and Advisor in several well-known movies, including: “The Tango Lesson”, “The Man in the Iron Mask” with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons, “Harrison's Flowers” with Andie McDowell, Adrien Brody and Gerard Butler, “The Visitors - Bastille day” with Christian Clavier and Jean Reno, “The curse of Edgar” with Brian Cox and many other films. He also directed commercials as well as documentaries. His current projects include fiction films and painting. As a student, he was at the “école des beaux arts” from Versailles where he discovered his passion for painting. Thru his movie career, he mixed drawing, writing, filming and also his love for Jazz
