A little about me... I was born in Cyprus in 1960, a small and sincere island in the Mediterranean sea. I had lived in this lovely place until the age of 19, when I moved to Turkey for my career in Industrial Engineering. This new country became my new home as I met with the love of my life during my studies and got 2 amazing sons. In three words, I would summarize myself as caring, emphatic and determined. A little about art... I had always loved art, felt it inside me and channelled this feeling to everything that I had made throughout my life from the food that I cook to the interior design or accessory designs that I had made. My passion for art had eventually led me to take painting classes from the famous Impressionist Turkish Painter Erdogan Secil in 2005. Painting opened a whole new world to channel my feelings and passion to the canvas. I took classes actively until 2017 and became an independent artist, and continue to paint in my art Gallery in Ankara since today. Impressionism style was like a love at first sight as I liked the possibilities to adding from myself to the perception of the reality itself and express it in a unique way. Especially the humble and sincere lifestyle and architecture of Anatolia, the impressive history and landscape of Istanbul together with the colorful beauty of nature and flowers became the center of my focus and the source of my art. A little about giving... Eventhough I have initially started painting started as a hobby, it became a passion and a serious part of my life very quickly and with the support of the people around me and myself, I was able to arrive when I am now. Though it was never for commercial purposes, I have also enjoyed the part of giving back to the society and feeding my desire to do good. I was able to achieve this by participating in exhibitions dedicated for charity for social projects such as helping students in need
