The Corn Painting

I painted this picture while traveling in central Russia in the Oryol region. It was dry but not sunny autumn. The cobs have already been harvested and only the trunks of the plants are left on the field. A light breeze rustled in the foliage. The sky was evenly covered by clouds and the sun barely shone through. Such is some kind of hopeless wall of these plants, which are mowed in the coming days. I specifically did not work out the structure of the plant. I wanted to depict only their static and slight movement of leaves from the wind.
