My name is Tasneem Kamal Abdel Rasoul Mohamed Wally, an Egyptian artist born in Alexandria. I am 20 years old. I have been drawing since my earliest childhood; I have always had a deep and powerful artistic sensitivity that was clearly noticed by my teachers and friends at school. This talent grew with me and became an inseparable part of who I am. I pursued my passion by enrolling in the Faculty of Education at Helwan University (Zamalek), where my strong artistic abilities stood out — particularly in the field of painting on paper and canvas. My works carried a certain presence and aura that drew the attention of everyone, including professors and fellow students. I participated in an exhibition that brought together students from three faculties: Applied Arts, Fine Arts, and my own (Art Education), where my painting “Corruption” won first place. I have also participated in many other exhibitions, addressing themes such as corruption, motherhood, and social issues facing the community. I received certificates of appreciation and awards during the first two years of my college journey. I am here to share my artwork and convey my feelings and perspectives through the pieces I create. Most of my paintings focus on emotion, using bold, expressive colors and swift, liberated brushstrokes that reflect a sense of freedom and release from constraints. I intentionally avoid precise proportions of buildings, people, and other elements because I don’t want the viewer’s eyes to get caught up in technical perfection. Instead, I aim to capture their heart first — through the emotional depth and expressive power of the artwork.
