ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I live in Yekaterinburg and I love my city very much, it inspires me a lot. So a significant part of my work is dedicated to this city. This picture shows the so-called "Plotinka" (the dam) - one of the sights of the city and a favorite place for many citizens to walk. But, of cource, I dont mean walks on ice :). To be honest, I have never seen such ice on our pond - it is always covered with snow. But on this picture I just see it exactly this way.
