"The Dance" captures the dynamic movement and energy of the sea and its relation to the human soul. It depicts the expressive and triumphant nature of the ocean. In this piece, paint is piled with an impasto technique as well as sanded and sculpted to create a variety of textures. The process of making the piece echos the erosive nature of the ocean.
