The Faceless Painting

The work was done in 2019. It’s made in expressionism style, as it shows the perception of the surrounding world by the artist. Watching what is happening around, we see people focusing on problems, negativity and limited thinking, which don’t allow us to think outside the box. Active colors selection in combination with pastel tones harmonizes and shows desire for inner sedation. The main idea of the work is desire to find harmony among people like yourself. Work is done on canvas, oil paints. Almost the whole painting was made with a palette knife, which provides volume and relief to the work. It also allows colors to remain more saturated.
