This image came from an investigation into the quality of the photographic image. While the figures are taken from a found image the colours are my analogue approximation of various digital effects. This helped to create a moody image of isolated figures, evoking the feeling of being alone in a crowd.

Rachael Eden was born in Whitley Bay in North Tyneside and studied at the University of Brighton receiving her BA Hons in Fine Art Painting in 2015. Eden works within her own sci-fi universe, weaving a narrative with seemingly disparate images. She works instinctively; leafing through books and magazines until an image or story grabs her. Her work can be read in many different ways with each viewer projecting their own ideas and narrative onto it.
