Original Oil Painting - on Italian Canvas - Stretched and Framed in a Dark Oak Tray Frame - Measures 53x53cm (21") Including Frame.  Signed by the artist on the reverse of the canvas.  The edges are painted. The Golden Hour is part of the Satori Series - A collection of paintings inspired by the Japanese word for Spontanous Irrepressable Joy.  Each of these pieces was painted with this sense of joyful energy.  This piece relates to the hours just before Sunset and just after Sunrise - The Golden hours in which change is taking place but not complete.  A fragile and fleeting time where the magic of the day or night is beginning.  The pallette of this piece was chose to reflect this type of daylight and the forms as soft and almost recognisable.    This piece has the feeling of a garden, or a place of peaceful contemplation.  The viewer is invited on a journey into the canvas and through the multilayered forms.  The Painting would compliment a breakfast room or kitchen space.  Somewhere you start and end the day - Let this painting bring a point of gentle reflection into your space and daily routine.  UK artist Genevieve Leavold is a rising talent in the emerging art scene, she had sell-out Solo show in London in 2019 and is included in The Other Art Fair Online Studios - Chicago Edition.
