Artur Martirosyan is Armenian Landscapes and Landschaft Abstractions Painter. Born in Yerevan, Armenia, on May 5, 1963. After graduating from school, he studied at the Department of Art of the Armenian State Pedagogical Institute (ASPU) from 1980 to 1985. Upon graduation, he began his work as a teacher, and since 1989 he has been teaching painting, composition, and illustration at ASPU. Since 1990, he has been a member of the USSR Union of Artists, and since 1992 a member of the Artists' Union of Armenia. In 1996 he received the degree of a candidate in pedagogical sciences. In 2004 he received the scientific title of an associate professor, followed by the title of a professor in the Department of Fine Arts. From 2011 to 2020 he worked as the director of the Art School after Avet Terteryan. Since 2023 he has been the head of the Department of Fine Arts at ASPU. Exhibitions held: 2000, 2003, 2007 - Paris, Tour (France). 2014 - Erlangen (Germany) 2016, 2017, 2018 - Nida, Klaipeda (Lithuania) 1999, 2000, 2002, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2022 - Yerevan (Armenia). Group exhibitions: 2010 - St. Petersburg (Russia) From 1986 till today - Yerevan 2007 - Tour (France) 2016 - Nida (Lithuania) 2022 - Kazakhstan 2022 - Georgia 2022 - Nida (Lithuania) 2023 - Georgia In 2007 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. Since 2000 he is a member of the world organization UNESCO.
