About The Artwork
Power and movement transform the older ideas of perfection, harmony and balance The works of the series "The Myth - Retransformation" develop an inherent power and transfer the viewer into an energetic mood. With a lot of physical strength, Christoph Robausch deforms metal into an abstract, relief-like field of tension. The color gradients of the ink follow this transformation and set the work in a mystically tuned oscillation. The opaque intensity of the colors is lightened by a further labor-intensive process, the supporting ground breaks out and completes the whole. The picture sculpture is signed on the front and on the back with the initials cR and also dated on the back. An invisible, inwardly offset wooden frame enables easy installation with an effective distance from the wall.
