The Origin of the Water Painting

23 year ago I tried for the first time working with watercolor, i had a hard time, I was struggling, trying not to let the water run, trying to control the paint in the water, so I quit, and I decided I better keep working with Oil. In this confinement, I found myself working at home, oil painting is intimate, so I couldn't do it at home, so I suddenly had this need to try again with water color, but it was more like a desire, my hands were more free, my mind was not clinging so that I decided that I was not going to control water, that water wouldn't be my enemy anymore, that I would rather play with it and guide it and and enjoy it. And this is it, this is the Origin of the water, based on Tlaloc, god of water, from the mini series of 3 watercolors.
