ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a minimalist piece which was started on the first day of Spring, 2011. The colors matched exactly a portion of sky above Georgetown, TX which caught my eye. Still feeling the slight chill of winter on my back, it somehow still felt like spring. Among the grey trees, I spotted one branch with early blooms, reaching across the solemn, but hopeful, sky. The title comes from a line in the English translation of a Brazilian song called "Aquas De Marco," or "Waters of March."
