June 12, 2023 Dear Art Friends, Just a quick report on the beginnings of my new series, The Loves of The Gods. The Rape of Europa is the first of, what is at this point, 6 planned images, but I did, tentatively, add 2 more this morn. Europa and Zeus/Jupiter do seem to be compatriots, rather than abductee and abductor, which is timely, for "We must all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately." It will be predominantely blue and yellow, for I worry about Ukraine, as well as Europe, and all those in between. I've never even been to Odesa, though a close friend's family comes from the old city, and has told me of its beauty. This is 36" X 48" X 2", and is oil on canvas. It should be done in a few weeks.

She has also lectured at OCAD, Parsons-Paris and virtually every major Museum in Europe and North America.She is the author of "The Conspiracy of Silence; Theodore Gericault's Raft of the Medusa and the Abolitionist Movement".As an international lecturer and artist she spent 12 years in Europe during which time she did research and lectured at Le Musee Ephrussi de Rothschild and La Villa Kerylos in France.
