Inspired by the verses of singer and musician Paolo Conte, I present here the series "The Smile of the World," which encapsulates all the characteristics of my style. In this series, I tackle a subject that requires more skill than a portrait. Why are we still talking about bodies and live nude portraits today? Because modernity is only half of art. The other is its eternity. I draw and paint the human figure from life; a sacred and eternal theme, investigated and represented by the painting of all times, which never ceases to amaze for the mystery and poetry it always evokes in its manifestation. This attitude flows into the profound study of form and stroke, through a process of synthesis aimed at refining the elements represented. The choice of subjects to be portrayed is free from aesthetic constraints: the only emotion is reserved for the structure and the stroke, which I revisit in search of ever-greater perfection. It is an exercise in mastering the line and controlling volumes, an obstinate profession between the pleasure of beauty and the reasonableness of structural truth. The quality in my works is the reality of the subject, to be pursued with the purest study of rhythm, symmetry, balance, and harmony. My stylistic code pursues, through the line, the gesture, the immediacy of an idea, also with the synthesis and speed of execution. Because, as I claim, "the subject of the painting is only the painting.ainting".

Why are we still talking about bodies and nude portraits from life? Because modernity is only half the art. The other is its eternity. Alessandro Alghisi draws and paints the human figure from life; a sacred and eternal theme, investigated and represented by the painting of all time, which never ceases to amaze for the mystery and poetry that it always arouses. This attitude flows into the profound study of form and trait, through a synthesis path aimed at refining the elements represented. The choice of subjects to be portrayed is free from aesthetic constraints: the only emotion is reserved for the structure and the line, on which we return in search of ever greater perfection. It is an exercise in domination of the sign and control of volumes, a stubborn trade between the pleasure of beauty and the reasonableness of structural truth. The quality in the works of Alessandro Alghisi is the reality of the subject, to be chased with the purest study of rhythm, symmetry, balance and harmony. His stylistic figure pursues, through the sign and the gesture, the immediacy of an idea, even with the synthesis and speed of execution. Since, as the artist claims, the "subject of painting, it is only painting".
