ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was partly inspired by Gustav Klimt, who used abstract design for a couple of his portraits' dresses. The hands and face were rendered realistically, though. The combination, I thought, was interesting. Although I used a different design for the dress than he did. It's something I plan to do again - it makes for an interesting picture, with philosophical implications.
