The work "The Last Supper" is painted on canvas, in oil. It was written by me during that period of my work, when I lived and worked in Moscow. In 2006, Dan Brown's book "The Davinci Code" was published, this book prompted me to create this picture. In different periods of my career, I have repeatedly addressed and studied the theme of "The Last Supper". In my work, I often refer to one of the most mystical and popular characters of the last 2000 years, Jesus Christ. What did Jesus tell his disciples, what he ate, what he drank, what did he joke about? How did the students behave? Listened, argued ...? All this remains a mystery and is an endless topic for artists, writers, etc.
