This painting is a combination of the abstract with reality; everything seems separated from reality, imagined, maybe even distorted but still so true and tangible, especially by the use of skeleton leaves, which are real leaves collected from trees and transformed into beautiful, elegant art materials. Both the fragility and the power of nature are told on this canvas through the contrasts between the intense, vibrant colors at the bottom and the pale ones from above, between the heavy, thick texture and the delicate one, between visible and discrete, strength and fragility. Autumn is therefore, the graceful dance between life and death… The Story Behind - the closer you get, the more details you discover. An original mixed media artwork created in oil and skeleton leaves on a large cotton canvas ( 50/100/4 cm ), with infinity frame ( painted edges ), signed and dated by the artist. It is built with the impasto technique using a palette knife, a great amount of paint and a lot of love. Ready to hang. Authenticity Certificate included.

Born in the fairytale city of Brașov, I spent my childhood in a big house where I lived with the whole family on my father's side: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, dogs, cats and chickens :). Recently I have come to the conclusion that it was my grandfather who influenced me the most in my life. He was a sports teacher and taught me : how to ride a bike, play tennis, billiards, chess and other board games ( using beans as game pieces ) and used to tell us a lot of fantasy stories. He loved to paint and I`m sure I also got this from him! I have a travel and tourism degree ( and wanderlust in my blood ), I love tennis, astrology, chess, biking, reading and I have always had art-related hobbies : I love photography and people say I have a good eye for it, I have always painted my clothes, bags, shoes, even skis, I’ve been collecting coins since childhood for their beauty, for their esthetic value and geographical characteristics, I have hairstyling skills and fashion sense. I have started to paint more actively around 2017, and in 2018 I have started a small business by hand-painting vintage bags when: BANG!!! I rediscovered myself, it was like my alter ego suddenly came out; I could not think of anything else but painting, I could not stop imagining the process and the way it made me feel, I was like hypnotised and I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life! I started painting a lot in a variety of mediums, learning and reading a lot about it and after a while I started taking art courses at Magda Vacariu Art School, which were interrupted by the pandemic, but the learning continued, as I am a devoted autodidact and the curiosity, desire and huge love for painting motivated me. When I paint I am complete and I have that authentic feeling of inner peace!
