“I urge the audience to enjoy and feel the energy.” Claudine Hauke is a German multidisciplinary Artist born in Siegen Germany (1967). She has lived in various countries over the last years like Africa, India and the USA. Today she lives and works in Johannesburg South Africa. As a trained Photographer and Self-taught Artist she explores since 13 years different technique (Painting, Drawing and Photography) and materials to express herself. As by-product, or result of a specific moment her Art is intuitive, honest, surprising and yet substantial; The Artist herself usually lost in the moment of creation to a point that the result afterwards can’t always be explained. In her latest work you will find Scribbles and Lines repeatedly, done with Pencil, Charcoal or the occasional Stitching. The backdrop can be Paper, Canvas, pieces of hessian or other fabrics as well as used cardboard or package Material. Her art work has been bought for private and cooperate collections in Germany and South Africa.
