• Edgar Bogoslovskij, 29.Drawing is my passion since childhood. My grandfather was member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, he's the one who gave me the love of art. Looking at his drawings and sketches, I wanted to master this wonderful art just like he did. I started my career at the young age of 8. Having been educated at the college of Art, I've got the skills of academic drawing and painting. My development was greatly influenced by my passion of music as a whole, but my heart was given over, for ever, to rock music with its crazy energy. That is why my first works have been dedicated to idols (rock stars), whose music were sounding inside of me without ceasing. I managed to create portraits, that became, in a some way, a personal meeting, face-to-face conversation. Its's easy to notice, cause most of them look at you directly. Besides, I do not stop being inspired by nature, especially by the stones and rocks - this is an inexhaustible source of fantasy. In nature, there is always a sense of something mysterious, unknown, multi-layered, a sense of miracle - all of these, in a special way, twisted trees, plants and butterflies. If you're looking at them for too long, they're becoming huge. I like to communicate with nature. Nature makes it possible to leave the familiar world of monotony, gives a physical and emotional outlet. I love painting. This is a very important part of my life. The painstaking attitude to the creation of paintings determines the personal value of each one. Many of my works are in private collections. I make portraits to order.
