This Is Where The Children Play Painting

This is where the children play; listen: this is still a balancing act. The base layer tilts the canvas: deep violet bedrock to the right, pale pink ether to the left. I am born with a great solitude; yet there are worlds inside me. I make marks on the moving air – sounds you can touch with your hands. I flute in blue, warm and deepen in turquoise; I keep this dense bright life of song in the precious bubble – fluctuating, floating – a tremulous sphere, sustained. The eye finds itself – and the loud arc of love – unquenchable.
