ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the adventures of Duncan Campbell, a native of the Isle of Eigg in the Hebrides, Scotland. A merchant seaman who saved his ship during the first world war. This painting was exhibited at Lyon and Turnbull in August 2020 and part of the work which was created after my residency on Eigg in February 2020.
