My name is James Adams. I'm a Freelance Illustrator/Artist, who currently resides in Fort Collins, CO with my gorgeous wife and two cats. Art is my passion. Eclecticism best defines my style. Drawing inspiration from various art genres of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, my love of vampires and blending it all with abstract conceptions, my art eclectically celebrates the female form in an unique and provocative fashion. It is my belief that the "real world", as we call it, is only an illusion; a dream world, of sorts. Everything around us is only a manifestation of our own vibrational essence. Through my illustrations, I explore this theory in the space of color and form, contrasting themes, such as; fashion, eroticism, vampirism and abstraction in a way that appeals to the primordial senses and challenges the viewer on an emotional level. My primary choices of media are acrylics, watercolor, pencil and gouache.
