ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The picture was painted on the eve of the year of the tiger. In many cultures, the tiger is the king of beasts. Seeing how other artists depict tigers in a calm state, I wanted to show how this animal splashes out its irrepressible power. We humans have subjugated nature, but in natural conditions, when we meet one on one, nature will win us over.
