Alexander Kravtsov was born in 1962 in Yaroslavl, Russia. Member of the Union of Russian Artists. Since childhood, he's been fascinated by painting and up to now art is his main activity. Throughout his creative career, he's been constantly experimenting. Alexander went through several creative periods, from time to time experiencing the influence of other masters. As a young artist, he claimed to be an avant-gardist. After a while, the influence of Impressionism prevails in his creative manner. Alexander Kravtsov is a representative of contemporary Russian art. His work is a realistic image of the unreal, which can also be called subjective or magical realism. With an absolute sense of language, sensitivity to metaphors, he does not refuse the pleasure to translate the game of words in the game of images. Alexander Kravtsov's works open up a new perspective on everyday things. Alexander participated in numerous Russian and international exhibitions. His works are in private collections, galleries of Russia and abroad.
