Leslie Laasner is a well-known artist of electronic music and a creative director from Estonia. Leslie has graduated from Tartu Art School and Estonian Academy Of Arts. He started to make music instead of art right after school. The first Estonian industrial flagship Pedigree, indie-legend Borax and international club project Holmes were born at that time. Leslie gained attention with a local popsensation group HU? in 2008. It´s debute became the best-selling album and made a clean sweep at Estonian Music Awards. He has also made music under the solo name Leslie Da Bass and released 4 albums. The 5th longplay will come out in autumn 2015 under Universal Music. Leslie has won the prize of the best electronical artist for several times. Altogether he has released 16 longplays in different groups. Leslie started to paint just a few years ago. It is a selection of his first series which was presented at his home studio last year. Although Leslie has been educated as a furniture and graphic designer he is fond of oil painting which didn´t come across during his studies. In his first collection Leslie travels around different landscapes with his thoughts and brushes. Every painting has its own story and you can find it in an envelope behind the frame.
